Emily's Wedding
A favorite wedding for lovers of folk tradition. Emily and I collaborated on the design of her dress. She is an illustrator, so the bottom details of her dress that I meticulously crafted are taken directly from one of her drawings. This translation of Emily into her dress made for a beautiful, unique piece.
Halligan's Wedding
Halligan's country circus wedding was a feast of beautiful things! Halligan's criteria for her dress were: short, and not sparkly! To create visual and textural interest, I designed a large scalloped edge to accent style lines in the bodice.
Ginny's Wedding
Ginny's wedding has become one of the most referenced events for 1920's themed weddings. Just do an image search for "1920's wedding" and you'll see! I made Ginny's bolero based on her custom design, and collaborated with another designer, Peter Hale Cooney III, on her head piece. I also made my own bridesmaid dress, which is a great example of how the design of a dress can mimick a style (I don't fit well into low waisted dresses, so I applied details to a faux low waist) and fit any body type.
